Ocean Freight

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Payment of the ocean freight charges, warehouse charges, and inland transportation must be paid in full at the time of booking request. There are no exceptions. If the same is not received 5 business days prior to the sailing of the cargo, the same will be kept on hold at the port of loading. Whichever storage/demurrage charges accrue because of these actions, will be billed to the account of the cargo owner. If the cargo sailed and the ocean freight has not been paid for 5 days prior to the arrival of the same at the port of final destination, AEM Logistics, will have the right to charge a $200.00 non-payment fee for RORO cargo and $250.00 for containerized cargo and /or exercise its lien rights and have the cargo sold. If there are any funds remaining after the freight payment has been satisfied, they will be returned to the cargo owner. WARNING: If the container related to this shipment is placed on hold by US Customs for inspection, the payment for the costs arising from such action will be for the account of the cargo owner. The carrier, forwarder, or its agents are not responsible for any personal effects/loss of cargo delivered to and/or shipped via AEM Logistics. RoRo service & vehicles must be in good drivable condition. If incurred, towing and forklift use charges will be fully borne by shipper. Ocean freight rates, sailings, and vessels are subject to change without prior notice. Misrepresentation in any form is punishable by law. POWER OF ATTORNEY: That, undersigned, the cargo owner of the above-described commodity(ies), do hereby make, constitute and appoint AEM Logistics, its employees, and agents my true and law full attorney to accomplish and finish the necessary and required papers in connection with the shipment of the above-described commodity(ies).

Air Freight

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Air freight charges, warehouse charges, and inland transportation must be paid in full at the time of booking request. There are no exceptions. The forwarder or its agents are not responsible for any loss of cargo delivered to the airlines for shipping. Air freight rates are subject to change without prior notice. Misrepresentation in any form is punishable by law. POWER OF ATTORNEY: That, undersigned, the cargo owner of the above-described commodity(ies), do hereby make, constitute and appoint AEM Logistics, its employees, and agents my true and law full attorney to accomplish and finish the necessary and required papers in connection with the shipment of the above-described commodity(ies).
